I’ve spent some time in Canada on this last trip and put together a list of the campgrounds that I’ve stayed at, contact information and some information about the area.

I’ve wanted to visit Glacier National Park for years, but I finally did it this summer! It was everything that I dreamed it would be and more. My niece and her husband recommended that I go to West Glacier so that is where I started.

How many different types of reunions can there be? I started this trip with one reunion, headed to another and ended with another. All family reunions are very different. How are they different? Let me explain.

I’ve only regretted the size of my unit three times, all three times in Glacier National Park. Once when I found out I couldn’t drive the full length of “Driving to The Sun” road, the second when I found out I couldn't drive into the North Fork and the third was when I couldn’t drive to where they were having a Northern Lights Watch Party.  After the third time I figured I’d been tired of not being able to do things so decided I’d find my own Northern Lights watch party and headed for Canada.

I’m trying something different today, let me know what you think! I’m traveling to Wyoming and there were several spots that just caught my eye and I wanted to share them with you so instead of pictures I did videos. So here are the videos, they are short and sweet.

I had left the Grand Canyon heading for Flagstaff when I spotted something interesting, a sign for Wupatki National Monument. As I’m prone to do I headed that way.

Retirement: Keeping in Touch

I retired nine years ago; I can hardly believe it has been that long ago. Just last week I attended a college housing conference. That’s what I used to do, provide housing for college students, helped them adjust to college living and basically becoming young adults.

If you know me you know I love the beach, it is my “Happy Place.” There is such a wide variety of beaches and while they may seem similar there are no two that are just the same.

RVers trust our lives to our tires. That’s one of the things that was drilled into my head when I was researching a RV and deciding to RV full time.

This trip was all about family. Some of the family are ones that I see on a regular basis others I see every couple of years, some I have never met. The challenge is how do I find them, finding them is important to me, and then how do I connect with them once I do find them?

Driving up the coast of Oregon seeing the first lighthouse I had to put “Puff the Magic Dragon” on the playlist. It stayed there till the last lighthouse was in my rearview mirror.

When RVing full time, it is important to keep in contact with family and friends, anyway for me it is.

This Ice Cream & Yogurt Store has the best old fashioned ice cream with waffle cones plus the service was top notch! We went on a busy night yet the service was fast and served with a smile.
